Shanny and the Rules

After a pre-season that saw Shanny hand out 9 suspensions totalling 28 pre-season and 32 regular season games, the suspensions have come to a screeching halt. Is the lack of suspenions in the regular season a result of no more hitting or has Shanny taken a break? Fuck you Dany Heatley!

Fuck. I don't think we thought this one through. Not a lot to wet the hockey whistle in the mid summer' heat. I imagined that the flood of anger and bullshit that would inevitably flow like a drunken piss off a suicidal bridge would carry us forward once the damn broke, but instead I find myself creatively floating face down in a stagnant pool of regret. But come on, fuck this. We went years before this, finding anything and everything to wipe our journalistic asses with. What about the Weber's sweet seven? Or how about Heatley and his holy hog flying north for the winter. Those must be post worthy. are they not? I think I just need one event to unfold that makes me want to to login and fuck. Not the easiest emotion to find at times. I guess when it happens it happens, but until then, I think it's time for a HockeyDump classic. Sing it with me now,....

It's gonna be a long off-season.

I don't know how it happened, but even with 3 separate blog contributors, we managed to go almost 2 weeks without a post. I personally blame 9/11.

There were rumours coming from 2 reliable sources that told me that Spec7ral had posted a rather odd video of himself and a co-host of sorts wearing masks or wigs or something, and drunkenly carrying on. I was never privy to the visual, but I'm sure that if he took it down, it must have really been something. But either way, on with the post...

Where to begin? Do I post about Dany in the Ott, and what a fucking baby that guy is? Or maybe the strong Pronger to the Kings rumour that has been spreading like wildfire all day? Maybe I could talk about the big Game 7 that hits us in just under 2 hours? Or how about none of the above. How about I just leave this blog just the way I found it. Waiting for Spec7al or Towers to smear their waste all over it in the great name of Internet Commentary. Ya, that sounds about right to me.
